Next Steps are the action items that keep your deals moving forward. They’re a first-class concept in Operate — not buried in notes or task lists, but front and center in your workflow.

What is a Next Step?

A Next Step is a specific action tied to a deal, person, or company:
  • “Send proposal to Jane at Acme Corp”
  • “Schedule follow-up call with engineering team”
  • “Share case study with procurement lead”

Creating Next Steps

Next Steps can be created:
  • Manually from any deal or person page
  • From meeting follow-ups after calendar events
  • Via Slack commands in connected deal channels
